Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.

Ian Curtis frontman of legendary Post Punk/Indie band Joy Division. ([link])
Next person to be done: Richey James Edwards.
(Okay I feel truly wrong that so far all my "Rock Legends" have been white males, but I personally can't think of many female artists who've come to a tragic end except for, Janis Joplin, Kirsty MacColl and Karen Carpenter (What I find weird is that female artists aren't as idolised as their male counterparts within the music industry, but my own music taste is also to blame). And I listen to none of them, so it'd be insincere to do a portrait of them. As for the for black artists Jimi Hendrix is the obvious choice, and that's the exact reason I withdrew from doing his portrait. Plus strangely I've never bought any of Hendrix's music, that needs to be fixed. Marvin Gaye is another artist, I haven't listened to
. Also Artists that should really go on this list that aren't are: "John Lennon", "Jim Morrision", "Sid Vicious", "Kurt Cobain", "Keith Moon", etc)

Yeah Ian was a great musician, I seem to be jumping between Joy Division two albums, the Manics The Holy Bible, Nick Drake stuff, and The Libertines all this summer. In other words depressing stuff, lol. (Especially the Manics, which'll be covered in my next "Rock Legends" submissions, when I tackle Richey Edwards effeminate form)

Sorry, I listed Kurt within the group of artists I wouldn't do. I love Nirvana, but the thing is everyone knows who Kurt Cobain is, I feel like I should cover the artists who've enjoyed only Cult success.
Maybe I'll revisit this series, add Kurt at a later date.
